Scs Bahrain Expedition Ends

The expedition ended as planned on Friday April 27th with a clear up day. This 20 day expedition only lost five 'at sea' working days due to adverse weather, and the market teams processed over 1500 elasmobranchs. The depressing depleted picture that first emerged on the 2008 Kuwait expedition, and which continued in Qatar in 2009/10, was further confirmed on the Bahrain expedition. SCS campaigning for measures to restore the health of the Gulf will continue.
